I first take the Meitetsu Airport Line "μ-SKY" Express service from Meitetsu Nagoya Station. Nagoya Station is a very complicated station, many companies operate their trains in this complex structure including Meitetsu, Kintetsu, Aonami Line and JR, while each company has its own ticket system. Meitetsu is the only one that provide service to Chubu Airport.
由名古屋市中心出發,首先乘坐名古屋鐵道機場線的μ-SKY特快列車。名古屋車站非常複雜,除分多個站構外,每個鐵路公司都有各自的改札口:JR線、青波線、近鐵線和名鐵線。而前往中部國際機場的則只有名鐵的常滑線。
Although "μ-SKY" service is the fastest train to Chubu Airport, trains only come at every 30 minutes (larger interval during rush hour) and an extra charge is applied. Therefore, passengers can also use other Meitetsu limited express trains that has its destination as "Central Japan International Airport"
儘管μ-SKY特快前往中部機場最快速的方法,但其間隔達到30分鐘(高峰期列車更少)而且需要購買特別車輛券。所以名鐵常滑線的特急列車也是另一個前往中部機場的方法哦(特急列車的普通車廂不需要另外加票)

Therefore, I was forced to enter the Chinese land. Pudong Airport is incredibly crowded in August, lines are excessively long. We waited 1 hour for security check and 1 hour for immigration

More rediculous: Air Canada uses two counter areas for check-in. D area is used for flights to Vancouver and Toronto while B for Montreal. However, the B area opens only at 2pm (2 hours before the flight departs), giving only 2 hours for passengers to check in, security check and immigration clearance.
更可笑的是,加拿大航空分為兩個值機櫃檯。D區僅供多倫多和溫哥華的航班使用,而B區的櫃檯則2點鐘才開放。也就是說,在大約2小時的時間里,旅客要辦理登機手續,安檢手續和出關手續

Then we experienced something even more ridiculous: The previous flight using gate D83 was United flight UA87 toward Newark. The flight was delayed because one of its passenger "Miss Gao Yun" wasn't showing up (she eventually came after the flight left), so the Air Canada flight arriving from Montreal was parked in space of airstairs...
更更可笑的是,之前使用D83閘口的聯合航空UA87前往紐華克的航班因為 高云女士 遲遲不出現導致延誤(她趕來時飛機已經飛走),導致我的航班要停去遠機位
On this day, Pudong Airport's shuttle bus operation is extremely busy. The small area is fitted with thousands of angry passengers... Yup, most of flights departing here are delayed, including ours because there aren't.... enough buses

It's not my first time travelling on the DreamLiner. My first time was also with Air Canada for flight AC30 from Beijing Capital to Vancouver back in 2015 which I was upgraded to Premium Economy, in 2016 I had the opportunity to traveled on British Airways flight BA95 from London Heathrow to Montreal, also on Premium Economy. This is the first time I seat in Economy to... feel the diffrence?

We arrived in Montreal. Although several international flights at the same time, custom and immigration is relatively smooth

When we finally stepped out of the airport, Montreal's sky is already dark.
ANA's service is still as great as it always have been, Air Canada has rooms for improvement. Pudong Airport, one of the worst I've been.
However, I files a complaint to Air Canada, they decided to give me a 25% discount on my next purchase on aircanada.com, which I greatly appreciated.
