So after the Air China relaxing flight from Canton to Beijing, here comes an exciting one: Air Canada flight 30 from Beijing Capital PEK to Vancouver International YVR onboard Boeing 787 DreamLiner! It's my first time to fly this modern beautiful aircraft and I just can't wait for it! So let's start right now

This story is on the second and third one

So I arrived at the PEK terminal 3 arrival hall and I had to run for the flight because I only got 30 minutes to catch the flight, don't forget I need to clear the custom and immigration inspection (you got custom and immigration inspection in most of the Asian countries even for departing)

From domestic concourse to international concourse you need to take the APM

Very standard APM system, designed and made by Bombardier

But it was a long one... you gotta know how f***** large PEK's terminal 3 is

Finally arrived to the International concourse
OMG how big it is?

Chinese garden!

what is the 故宮印象 on the right side?
BTW the 2nd floor is CA's premium lounge

Gate
Hopefully I still got time before it departs

So beautiful right?
I took this picture in the shuttle bus

Economy Cabin

Economy seats
This should be my seat at 26F but...

I thought 3-3-3 would be very tight in 787 but in fact no, it's as comfortable as the new Cathay Pacific long haul product

Premium Economy seats

Premium Economy cabin

International Business Class

So eventually I sat down on my seat but a couple with their cute baby (lots baby on this flight, at least 10 and more) came asked me if I could switch seat with them (32A window) because there was no one beside me so the baby could have his own seat and I said yes. Now it comes the problem: I paid 150$ for this preferred seat, if I switch seat now, will Air Canada refund me?
I asked the purser. After a long discussion with the ground agent, she said to me:
because we really appreciate what you did and it was really nice thing to do, we decided to PUT YOU IN PREMIUM ECONOMY but just DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE TO KNOW...
HAHAHAHA once again I got a free upgrade!!!!
BTW this purser was the flight attendant in the newest Air Canada safety video!

Welcome drink and in-ear headphone
I sat on 16G aisle, no window view but who cares when you could get a free upgrade?

Amenity Kit

I really like the new signs on 787
There were no more No smoking sign and all signs are now drew instead of "EXIT sortie"

Nice screen!

Introduction of 787 DreamLiner

I really loved the IFE, it's probably the best IFE i've seen! It gives you a feel of using a tablet but you also have a remote!
I'm quite a frequent flyer (not that frequent compare to those grands voyageurs) but I rarely watch movies on plane, but this time I watched the entire Imitation Game

For your safety

They told me because I was the last minute upgraded passenger so they don't have extra PEY desserts for me so they only offered me a lemon cake
But 10 minutes later the purser came and said they found a PEY dessert and asked me to beg her for the Tiramisu...

Do you like it?
I do.

Welcome on board Air Maple Leaf
They should offer unlimited maple syrup on every flights.

Well organized back galley

Self serve drink bar

Self serve food in the central galley
I was really bored in the mid-flight so I went to visit the flight attendants, and one of the flight attendants asked me if I speaked Cantonese and I said yes, so she started chatting with me and she was really nice... haha she was a Hongkonger and I think I've seen her before on AC15/16

Mid flight snacks

Air Canada's signature meal
They offer this too all classes! I've already had this (omelet, potato with sausage and sometimes mushroom and tomato) on AC's business, economy and now premium economy...

Now I know how it feels when pissing above the cloud

I'm not kidding this was taken from the window in lavatory

Maple Leaf everywhere
What dose this suppose to do? Helping you too poop better?
OK... I know United got flowers from their 757 lavatories

Moisture product...

So people are saying 787 windows are bigger than ever but how big they actually are?
here is a comparison with my iPhone 5s.

Ready for landing...
First, need a black coffee to relax

Landscape in British Columbia

Total route

After landing shot
Why didn't I visit the cockpit?
Because the captain refused me saying he got many paper-works to do...

YVR used to be my no.1 airport but...
It was under renovation so everywhere seemed nasty
And I walked kilometers to the baggage claim and a other kilometers to domestic transit and the line was really long at the security check...

Baggage claim

If you have been flying from YVR domestic you know where I took this picture

Within an hour, the C-GHPY pushed back for another flight to Toronto YYZ, noted the C-FNNJ just arrived from Hong Kong HKG

I usually fly AC112 from Vancouver to Montreal but It always departs from gate C30

And here's my bird flying to Montreal
Air Canada (AC)

CZ has never been giving me a good impression since the first time I took it Boarding Pass Prior the departure, I asked the agent in French at the gate if I could get an upgrade with my China Southern Pearl Club Miles and he responded no need and he upgrade me to Economy Plus for free! My China Southern flight will be depart from gate M41. I had to take an APM to the M satellite hall I have taken several airport APM before: Toronto, Denver, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Narita, Kansai and Beijing and this is probably the most fabulous (beautiful) one! Although it was only a 50 seconds trip French, English and Simplified Chinese... so familier where have I seen it before? Oh, Vancouver! Bienvenu à l'hall M Surely the biggest duty free shop i've ever seen with all the staffs following you and talki...

Pour la version française cliquez ici 中文版本請點 這裡 When I first got on an A340 6 months ago (you could read my flight report here ), I thought it was probably the last time I could travel on this not-so-fuel-efficiency bird. But in less a year, I'm actually travelling again on this beautiful, quite and comfortable plane! Also with an European carrier like Air France who carried me last time on A340, this time German national-carrier Lufthansa are flying me back home from Frankfurt to Montreal. I've heard a lot of good review before and I confirm: it provides an amazing service and comfortable seats!  LH478 is operated by Lufthansa daily, departing at 1:30pm from Frankfurt and arrive at 3:30pm to Montreal, the flight time is about 7 hours and 30 minutes Lufthansa operates two flights to Montreal everyday, one from Frankfurt and the other from Munich. Air Canada also operates one daily flight between Montreal and Frankfurt. All other flights are A330-300, makes ...

Pour la version française cliquez ici 中文版本請點擊 這裡 All the airlines around the world are retiring their A340 at this moment just because they think they're not so fuel efficiency compare too B777 and that's why I can't believe I'm still able to be travelling on Air France's old livery A340-300. Et voici mon repotage du vol! (And here is my flight report!) Sorry for the photo quality because my own camera was in reparation so this was not my camera...
