Emirates, Etihad and Qatar - the MEB3, all less than 30 years of history but making the largest and most famous airlines in the world. People in different forums discuss about how luxurious they are, and sometimes how unfair the competition becomes. It's the first time I try out this airline, I really want to see how much I can expect! Noted it's also the first time I fly long-haul business class and A380!
阿聯酋、阿提哈德和卡塔爾——中東三寶+油王,全部都只有不到30年的歷史,但每一間的名字都是響噹噹!最近新聞中經常出現歐美航空公司指責油王的不公平競爭,但無論如何,這三間的服務水平絕對是不容置疑的。小弟今次更加首次乘坐長途商務艙和A380,真是讓人期待!

Heathrow Express departs every 15 minutes and takes 15 minutes to travel between Paddington and Heathrow Central (Terminal 1, 2 and 3), the train terminates its journey at Heathrow terminal 5

Qatar Airways uses terminal 4, which requires a transfer at Heathrow Central when arriving by Heathrow Express. And this is what learned: don't use Heathrow Express if you're going to terminal 4, because you will have to transfer to the Heathrow Connect service at Heathrow Central. Heathrow Connect runs also between Paddington and Heathrow but calling at more stops and departing every 30 minutes, it costs only the half of Heathrow Express (Heathrow connect=12£, Heathrow Express=22£). Heathrow Connect is the only train that goes to Terminal 4 and Heathrow Express is the only train that goes to Terminal 5, all trains stopping at Terminal 1,2,3.
Oh I'm wrong, you also have the option of Underground Picaddilly Line, it takes around 1 hour between London central and Heathrow airport.
卡塔爾航空公司使用的是4航廈,也就是說乘坐希斯羅快線的旅客必須在希斯羅中央車站換乘希斯羅連接(Heathrow Connect)列車。希斯羅連接每三十分鐘由柏丁頓開出,經停多個車站後到達希斯羅中央站,并前往4航廈,而價錢也只是希斯羅快線的一半(快線=22£\連接=12£)。也就是說,若前往4航廈,旅客則完全沒有必要花大錢乘坐希斯羅快線!
當然,最便宜的選擇是地鐵皮凱得利線,由倫敦市中心前往希斯羅機場需時1小時。
Terrible design at Terminal 4 Station, lifts are the only way to the terminal as it results lots of uncivilized people just don't know how to queue (oh, maybe it's just me lived in Canada for too long? and maybe they're just used to their "deep-level tube"?)

After the security, here I am in front of the Qatar Airways lounge, located at gate 1. It shares the passway that also links to the prayer room, Air India lounge and Plaza Premium lounge.
